Building the Visionary Navigator Movement
A few years ago, I asked Gino Wickman what he calls the work he does when he mentors and guides people. He simply said, “I’m a navigator. I help people navigate. That’s what I have fun doing now.” That answer stuck with me. I realized that I like to do the same. I didn’t set out to be a coach. What I discovered is that I’m a navigator at heart. I see the whole picture, help clear the fog, and walk with leaders through uncertainty.
And while some might say I’m doing this before I should be, I believe this is worth it. I’m choosing to live as my future self now.
The work I’m building revolves around
three integrated pillars: the Big Fish Cares Podcast, The Pond, and Visionary Navigator Services.
Together, they form an ecosystem that creates not just success in business but freedom, purpose, and authentic connection.

The podcast is the
megaphone. It shares stories of adversity, resilience, and transformation. It highlights leaders who have turned pain into purpose and presence, giving others permission to believe change is possible. It is also the storytelling engine that fuels everything else, spotlighting Collaborators, Navigators, and Pond members.
Every episode inspires, builds trust, and attracts people into the community. Over time,
all of our Ponds will connect with each other, and the podcast will help knit them together into a movement that can one day fill stadiums with people who are fans of what we’re building.
The Pond is the heartbeat.
A curated community of 150 entrepreneurs anchored by two Founders Calls each month where we combine business clarity with personal alignment.
Around these core calls, there are
12 Sub-Ponds led by Collaborators.
Six focus on Impact such as sales, marketing, systems, leadership, and finance. Six focus on Peace such as faith, health, family, relationships, mindset, and emotional clarity. Each Collaborator contributes monthly content, teaches in their lane, and headlines retreats.
The Pond will feel like a growing library of wisdom, a hub where leaders can exchange ideas, share content, and access support.
Twice a year the community gathers for transformational retreats, and
every August we host the Founders BBQ. It is less about networking and more about authentic family, a place where entrepreneurs can breathe, connect, and grow together. Gifting will be a core part of this experience. We want to create memorable, unique moments that spread generosity and leave a legacy.

A
Visionary Navigator is a trusted guide who helps entrepreneurs and visionary leaders navigate uncertainty, gain deep clarity of purpose, and align bold decisions with lasting impact and fulfillment. This clicked for me in that conversation with Gino. I realized I wasn’t here to fix people. I was here to listen, guide, and navigate.
To walk with leaders who feel stuck in their success and give them perspective, peace, and a path forward.
Through Navigator Services, I work with leaders one-on-one or with their teams. I help clarify vision, install operational systems, strengthen sales and marketing, connect them with financial partners, and most importantly, create a bigger vision for their life so they are excited about transformation. I thrive in real-life, in-person settings where strategy meets soul. Like the Pond, gifting is woven into the experience. Every client interaction is an opportunity to surprise, delight, and honor.
The Integration
These three pillars feed each other. The Podcast builds awareness. The Pond provides belonging. Navigator Services create clarity and transformation. The stories flow back into the Podcast, creating a cycle that sustains itself.
In three years, the Pond will be full at 150 members, Collaborators will be contributing monthly, and our playbooks and systems will be refined in the Navigator Hub. In ten years, I will mentor 12 Navigators, each with their own Pond of 150 leaders, their own clients, and their own podcast. That will be 13 Ponds in total, nearly 2,000 entrepreneurs impacted directly, and ripple effects reaching thousands of families and communities. Big Fish Synergy will serve as the engine, providing marketing, CRM, and done-with-you services so Navigators can launch smoothly. As our flagship Pond fills, waitlists will naturally flow into the next Ponds.
Why This Matters
I believe that ten years from now community will matter more than money. Capital can be raised in a night, but authentic connection takes years to build. Entrepreneurs exiting private equity or scaling companies will be looking for purpose and belonging. We are building that now.
My faith anchors me here too. Jesus ran with twelve. He poured into them, and they multiplied his message. I feel the same call to mentor 12 Navigators deeply, to cement that core group, and then to help them multiply it through their own Ponds and clients.
This isn’t just business strategy. It’s spiritual. It’s about living with intention, serving others, and leaving a legacy of freedom and clarity.
I also believe there’s a book inside me. Maybe it will be Pain in the Presence or something that emerges along the way. A book to capture this journey and inspire others at scale. Gino has a vision to reach 70 million people. I want to be part of that. Whether my part is 70,000, 700,000, or 7 million, I will play my role faithfully. I believe I have three decades of solid work ahead, and this is only the beginning.
So here’s my call to action.
Who wants to join me? Who wants to help build this movement?
I cannot and will not do it alone.
But together, with clarity, purpose, presence, and generosity, we can create something extraordinary that changes the way entrepreneurs live and lead for generations to come.
